I impregnate the cups with bee propolis, linseed oil and beeswax. I do not use chemical impregnations. Any wooden utensils require maintenance. For a long lasting mug, do not wash it in the dishwasher or use detergents. I recommend periodically lubricating a dry cup with natural oil suitable for contact with food (for example, linseed oil or special oil for wooden dishes). I test all the mugs with boiling water.
