Sarongs are the simplest type of everyday wear, adaptable to changes in body size and lifestyle over the years while maintaining the same dimensions and structure. The primary focus is on making full use of the fabric itself, so there are no pockets for storing items. Therefore, a waist pouch is indispensable for work, used to hold essential writing tools. Since it's a sarong that allows for enjoying layered textures and color coordination, I wanted several types of waist pouches so I could enjoy coordinating them with the sarongs. This is why I asked Yasuko Terada to create a series of small waist pouches. It's belt-style, so you can hang it on a bag handle, and its size is perfect for use as a phone holder when you're out and about.
