The long-awaited crochet workshop is here! Students who have a special liking for clothing works but have no previous crochet experience are welcome! This vest uses a simple, hollow and delicate flower fabric design, plus the delicate and soft Jiji's own four-strand combed cotton, which can ensure that it is refreshing and burden-free when worn in the hot summer. As a small vest for summer outerwear, it is not afraid of being stuffy, and it looks good even if it is matched with a plain dress.
Since making clothes is difficult, students with no experience will learn how to knit granny lattice panels independently in the first class, and will start making vests in the second class. Then, students will learn how to piece the panels together to form a complete vest in the third class. Students who already have a basic knowledge of crocheting can skip the first class.
*The default quantity of the vest is for an average adult female size SM. For size L, four additional balls of wire are required, and the material cost is approximately $112

After completing this course, if you are interested in continuing to learn different crochet techniques, you are welcome to join the regular crochet classes for in-depth learning. You can customize themes and freely learn your favorite fabrics.
Class content:
The instructor will gradually teach you the basic techniques of crochet, including:
Learn about basic tools and techniques: learn how to hold the crochet hook and yarn correctly, and master the most basic crochet gestures.
Learn how to start your first work: Learn how to read crochet diagrams, starting with the first step of crochet, "casting on the stitches".
Master the core crochet stitches: Learn the most commonly used basic stitches in crochet, which are also necessary to complete the work: short stitches and added stitches.
Fabric splicing: an essential part of making fabric works. Once you successfully master the splicing skills, you can open up the colorful world of fabrics and challenge more fabric works.

The number of places is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
No refunds or class transfers.
If you change your appointment 48 hours before class, we can arrange a class change based on the situation.
If you change or cancel your reservation within 24 hours before the class, or are 20 minutes or more late for the class, it will be assumed that you have voluntarily given up the class and no refund will be given.
Please complete the course within 3 months from the payment date. Unfinished classes will be automatically cancelled.
To avoid disrupting the class order, please be on time or no earlier or later than 10 minutes before the scheduled time. To protect the students who are in class, the instructor has the right to refuse entry to students who arrive 10 minutes earlier and will not allow entry until the students' original class time. Please understand.
For every 30 minutes overtime, an extra $200 per person per hour will be charged. (Any time less than half an hour will be counted as half an hour)
The instructor will try to maintain the number of students in the class at the same time to ensure that students are adequately taken care of. During the most popular period, no more than 12 people will attend the class at the same time.
If the Observatory issues or still hoists a severe weather warning such as red rain, black rain or Typhoon Signal No. 8 4 hours before the start of the workshop, or other sudden severe weather, Jiji will contact students who have appointments on that day to reschedule the class.
