Are you interested in making a leaf-shaped coaster by yourself? Welcome to join the wooden coaster workshop, explore the art of woodworking, and make your own unique coaster! In this workshop, we will introduce Hong Kong’s rich and diverse native plants that inspired the design of coasters. We recycle local Hong Kong wood for production to support environmental sustainability. During the production process, you will learn how to use woodworking tools including jigsaws, scrapers, and sandpaper. Welcome to this workshop that brings together natural elements, creativity and environmental awareness! Participants can choose to make coasters in the shape of leaves of Centella asiatica, Hibiscus tiliaceus or Paulownia tanarius.
