Hand-Woven Linen Stole [Seifu*06]
Materials: 97% Linen, 3% Silk
Size: Approx. 40cm x 170cm (excluding 5cm fringe)
This medium-sized stole is meticulously hand-woven using the finest 120-count linen threads, sourced from a Kyoto-based yarn wholesaler. The threads are dyed in various colors from a bleached base and then woven by hand. It is so thinly woven that it appears translucent, offering a soft, light drape that gently conforms to your body without any stiffness or roughness.
Woven with three shades of blue and white linen threads, the pattern subtly shifts at the center and edges, allowing for diverse styling possibilities.
The ultra-fine ramie linen yarn, half the thickness of standard hand-weaving linen, is characterized by its minimal fuzz and elegant sheen. With a fine warp density of 500 threads, it achieves an exceptionally supple texture. Linen stoles offer superior absorbency, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying properties compared to cotton, ensuring a dry and refreshing feel against the skin. This makes it a perfect companion for spring, summer, and autumn.
*Please note that creases may form during shipping. These can be easily removed with a light steam iron.
*Complimentary gift wrapping is available upon request.
