**◈ Designer's Notes**
The natural black labradorite, with its gentle blue sheen and exquisite iridescence, exudes a dreamy elegance, shimmering with a silky, vibrant luster. It is delicately accented with striking lapis lazuli and opulent enamel, a beauty that speaks for itself.
**The enamel, gold ornaments, and gemstones gracefully rotate on the golden tube, bringing a sense of playful charm and the auspicious meaning of turning luck and drawing good fortune in. ^^**
**Labradorite**
Labradorite, also known as Spectrolite, is cherished for its warm, fine texture and its dreamy, elegant iridescence. This gemstone family encompasses moonstone, sunstone, and amazonite, all displaying a silky, vibrant sheen.
**Lapis Lazuli**
Ancient texts record the use of Lapis Lazuli in China as early as five thousand years ago, and even earlier in Egypt, around eight thousand years ago. Chinese emperors of past dynasties used lapis lazuli for celestial rituals, believing its blue hue mirrored the heavens and that it served as a connection to the divine. The ancient Egyptians, too, revered it as a stone that could communicate with the spirit world.
The finest lapis lazuli in the world is found in Afghanistan. Afghan lapis lazuli is known for its deep, regal blue color, earning it the esteemed title of "Imperial Blue."
When selecting lapis lazuli, look for a natural distribution of blue, white (calcite), and gold (pyrite) inclusions. As lapis lazuli is formed near the earth's surface, it has many pores and should not be exposed to water for extended periods. Regular conditioning with mineral oil is recommended.
**Cloisonné (Champlevé Enamel)**
Cloisonné, scientifically known as wire-inlaid enamel on copper, originated in the ancient Near East. As early as the 19th century BC, Egyptian pharaohs crafted necklaces using this technique, often incorporating gemstones. The Eastern Roman Empire later elevated this craft to extraordinary heights. It was introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty and reached its zenith during the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, hence its name "Jingtai Blue."
Exquisite cloisonné pieces are characterized by their lustrous and vibrant colors, a substantial and solid base, neat and uniform wirework, and brilliant gilding. They embody the gentle warmth of jade, the radiance of gemstones, and the delicate refinement of porcelain. Consequently, the cloisonné process is intricate and costly.

**◈ On Usage and Care**
1. Natural gemstones possess their inherent luster and unique textures (such as minor black spots, internal patterns, hairline fractures, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, and asymmetry). With frequent wear, you may observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, often becoming more translucent and captivating – this is also the best form of care.
Natural organic gemstones (like coral and amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If soiled, avoid using detergents. Clean with plain water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle conditioning.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan. Avoid external damage or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric components (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to wear and have a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external damage, or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For any jewelry, when soiled, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for applicable materials. After washing, ensure the item is dried promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, store it properly in its packaging, minimizing exposure to air to slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or placing heavy objects on it.
