**Artist of the Jade Carving Creation**
Born in 1973 in Fangyuan Township, Changhua County.
Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988.
2000: Received an honorable mention in the craft category at the 14th Nanying Art Exhibition; participated in a jade stone joint exhibition at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in August.
2001: Invited to perform live carving at the Hualien International Art Festival, within the local creation area.
2002: Selected for the "Dream of Craft" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition.
2003: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit at the "Taitung Local Exhibition" in the Presidential Office.
2005: Invited by the National Taiwan Museum to participate in an exchange exhibition of local carvings at the National Museum of the Czech Republic, exhibiting in "Thousand Faces of Formosa."
2013: Exhibited at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in the "Masters of Jade Carving Exchange from Both Sides of the Strait" event, invited to exhibit in the Taiwanese Jade Master section.
2016: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit at the Presidential Office Gallery in the "Gathering Around the Hearth — Sustainable Craft Exhibition" alongside other Taiwanese craft masters.
2018: Held a solo exhibition, "Hsieh Chung-jen Jade Carving 30th Anniversary Exhibition — The Continuation of Culture," at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
