Method 2 Take a non-elastic cotton thread or thin string and wrap it snugly around the finger where you intend to wear the ring. Once wrapped, lay the string flat against a standard ruler to measure its total length. Divide the total length by 3.14 to get the diameter of your ring size. Gentle Reminder The size of our fingers varies slightly throughout the day and across seasons – from morning to night, and between winter and summer. Similar to how feet might feel slightly swollen after a full day of walking, finger size can also change with weight fluctuations.
