Kimono Art 42: Vintage Irouchigake Embroidery Art Frame Japanese Decor - Wall Décor - Silk Gold

Product Description

The bridal kimonos worn at weddings are magnificent and uplift the spirit with their elegance. However, after being worn multiple times, small scratches or stains may appear, making them unsuitable for formal wedding use. Though these imperfections are often barely noticeable, it felt like a waste to let such beautiful craftsmanship fade away in storage. With the wish for "more people to experience kimonos in various forms," we created these art frames from wedding attire. The gorgeous embroidery creates a sense of three-dimensional depth. Displaying this art frame instantly transforms the atmosphere of a room, allowing for an easy interior makeover. The dignified presence of the frame adds a sophisticated accent to any space. Wedding attire is adorned with many traditional Japanese patterns called "Kisshomonyo," believed to bring good luck. This frame features a "Senmen" (folding fan) embroidery. This motif originated from the Japanese belief that a soul must be stirred to prevent it from settling; thus, the fan pattern was designed to "awaken the soul." Additionally, because the fan spreads outward, it symbolizes "Suehirogari" (prosperity), wishing for the growth of family and business. Of course, we also hope you enjoy it in your own home to feel the unique Japanese culture close to you. Frame size: 370mm (H) x 490mm (W) Surface cover: Acrylic *As vintage kimono fabric is used, there may be some minor imperfections or scratches. *Color and texture may differ slightly between the photos and the actual product. *Due to the nature of the materials, please avoid displaying in direct sunlight or areas with high temperature and humidity. *Due to the design, this product contains seams. Depending on the thickness, the fabric or pattern may be slightly misaligned. (Large works are composed by joining fabrics approximately 37–38cm wide, so lines will inevitably appear.)
