(You may use soap or hand wash detergent, but please avoid bleach.) If machine washing, please place the hair tie in a laundry bag (a double-layered one is even better) before washing. The material is pure cotton fabric, which "wrinkles easily." After spinning or wringing, be sure to "shake it out and lay it flat to dry." Please dry in a shaded area. Direct sunlight can cause the fabric fibers to become brittle. Machine washing can easily cause wrinkles.
