Round chopstick rest in white glaze and spring colors

We created a plump, round chopstick rest by combining red clay, which has a warm atmosphere characteristic of ceramic clay, with a glossy white glaze. The white glaze is accented with three pale colored glazes reminiscent of spring. Each piece is made by hand by rolling and flattening the clay and smoothing out the curves. The color of the glaze, the round shape, and the hand marks that are unique to hand-forming create a chopstick rest with a warm, gentle atmosphere. I have a small electric kiln at home and do all the steps by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing and firing. We try to mold them as uniformly as possible in size and thickness, but because they are made by hand, each one is slightly different. We hope you enjoy each one's unique personality.
