This inspired my design and creation process. The pace of clothing consumption often outstrips our ability to use them. If we no longer wear them, can we give them a second purpose? . "Long Wear": Wear it long, wear it often Rooted in the Hakka spirit of cherishing resources, this design focuses on timeless silhouettes that transcend trends and can be savored repeatedly. The front of the T-shirt is simple and clean, designed with a slightly relaxed, shorter cut that flatters East Asian physiques. It's also gender-neutral, intended for anyone to wear. A lifestyle of ease The generous body width accommodates various figures, while the cropped, slightly shorter length makes it easy for petite individuals to tuck in and pair with other items. More interesting, versatile combinations The "waistband" connecting the back to the arm openings can be detached. Observing everyday wear, we noticed that most knit T-shirt necklines use ribbed fabric, offering elasticity but also prone to stretching out over time. If habits can't change, perhaps traditional design can be reimagined with a "Long-Life Products" mindset. We've constructed the neckline with a single piece of fabric that naturally curls, mimicking a well-loved look from the start, yet the collar remains firm. We've reinforced the seams with Bar tacks for added durability. When a garment becomes too soiled to clean, we want to give it a second life. You could cut the fabric into cleaning cloths, table runners, tote bags, and so on. When not in use, the back pocket resembles an art installation Art Deco & Modernism GROW embodies a Modernist approach, expressing authentic feelings and thoughts with emotional depth. It is grounded in science, valuing rationality, logic, and experimental exploration. Adding a pocket to knit fabric can lead to wear and tear. To address this, we've reinforced the pocket's edge with a layer of webbing. When the garment eventually becomes too worn to wear, it can be repurposed. The back pocket becomes the front of the half-apron. We sought a knit fabric that, like denim, develops character with prolonged use – a fabric so appealing that even its worn-out state, with holes, looks good. This is the fabric that perfectly embodies the GROW spirit! rin meticulously selected fine cotton yarn, spun into Folded Yarn, and densely woven to create rin’s signature fabric: lightweight, highly resistant to abrasion, resistant to pilling, and with a substantial feel. You can directly experience the authentic texture of the fabric, radiating a natural charm. Each piece is meticulously finished and ironed before reaching you. You won't have to worry about size variations after washing in the future. You can safely machine wash and tumble dry it from the start.
