The interlocking blocks are made of beech wood and are inspired by the joinery tradition of Japanese furniture making. All components require no nails, screws or adhesives, and require patience to snap them back into an interlocking state. Simple as it may seem at first glance, this colorful and mind-bending puzzle is actually challenging.
The puzzle was designed by Yoshiaki Ito, an award-winning Brooklyn-based designer and craftsman who creates toys, furniture, and other objects with a sensibility that combines Brooklyn vibes with Japanese aesthetic traditions in unexpected ways.
