A dress made from yukata fabric, perfect for the hot summer.
The children in yukatas you see at summer festivals are super cute!
But it's hard to wear on a regular basis.
So I made a dress made from yukata fabric that can be worn on a daily basis.
Yukata fabric becomes more absorbent and comfortable to wear the more you wash it, so wear it a lot this summer and feel free to wash it.
There are different colors and patterns available, so please feel free to enjoy the beauty of Japanese dyeing.
■About the fabric
Fabric used: New yukata fabric
Material: 100% cotton
Transparency: Slightly transparent
Dyeing: Chusen dyeing
Please note: The fabric has neps (knots in the thread). We appreciate your understanding.
About Chusen
Chusen dyeing is done by pouring colors into the fabric using a tool similar to a watering can, so the more colors used, the more work the artisan has to do.
That's why I think children's yukata fabric is the most luxurious.
A bolt of cloth that has been dyed repeatedly through a mind-boggling process.
The color gradations and fluctuations are unique to the artisan's handiwork, and the colors are irresistibly captivating.
Authentic dyeing with color that penetrates all the way to the back.
Although we will no longer be able to sell our products at affordable prices, we hope to continue to contribute to the continued provision of these wonderful handicrafts.

■About washing
- Like denim, the color may fade slightly the first few times you wash it, so we recommend washing it by hand separately from other items.
Once the color has settled, you can place the item in a laundry net and wash it in the washing machine as usual.
- If left wet, the color will transfer, so lightly dehydrate it and then dry it immediately.
■What I want to say
・We make each item carefully and with love, but please understand that as they are handmade, there may be some distortion or differences in the pattern.
-The skirt is made by sewing together long, thin bolts of fabric, so there are several vertical seams.
-There are no pockets.
・As the size increases, the skirt will have less gathers.
・Photographs are taken in natural light, but colors may appear differently depending on your monitor.
・This product is made to order.
