Every strap comes with two keepers (one fixed). **Premium Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather** We use "Buttero" vegetable-tanned leather, produced from cowhide by the renowned Conceria Walpier tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy. Reflecting its natural tanning process, each piece of leather features unique tones and patterns, giving every strap its own distinct character. **Leather Lining** For the lining, we use the same "Buttero" vegetable-tanned leather from Conceria Walpier. As this side is in direct contact with your skin, we exclusively use the natural, undyed version. **Strap Thickness** With a thickness of approximately 2.5 mm, the leather will gradually adapt and conform to your wrist after a few days of wear. **Identifying Vegetable-Tanned Leather** Refined over centuries, traditional vegetable tanning imparts a unique aesthetic and unparalleled durability. Due to the labor-intensive, specialized craftsmanship required and lower automation, this process is significantly more costly than the chrome-tanning methods used for 80% of global leather production. While it can be difficult for the untrained eye to distinguish, you can rely on your senses: vegetable-tanned leather emits a distinct, rich aroma that synthetic or mass-produced leathers lack. Over time, the leather will develop a beautiful, deeper patina, which is a hallmark of this authentic material. **Special Note** As leather is a natural product, please note that it may feature subtle imperfections such as scars or stretch marks. These are natural characteristics, and we strive to select only the finest sections for our products.
