This certification course from Japan introduces you to the beauty of color and line through foundational techniques. We invite you to experience the beauty of color transformation together. The certification course is a one-day session or can be split into two 2.5-hour sessions. ※ Please confirm available dates with us before booking. Feel free to inquire about any other questions. After completing the course, you will need to submit three artworks for review by Japan to apply for your certificate. The certificate is issued by Atelier Tua Plus One in Japan and typically takes 2-3 months to receive. Upon receiving your digital certificate, you will be eligible to host introductory and certification workshops. Course Content Includes: ● Basic knowledge of alcohol ink art and techniques for using a hairdryer. ● Introduction to alcohol ink art materials. ● Understanding alcohol ink papers. ● Differences and methods for using hairdryers, spray bottles, and blow-pouts. ● Introduction to various brands of alcohol ink. ● Fundamental Alcohol Ink Techniques – ● How to photograph your artwork and composition (lighting and shooting techniques). 1. Basic rendering methods, considerations for ink selection, color swatch practice (demonstration and hands-on). 2. Circles (demonstration and hands-on). 3. Roses (demonstration and hands-on). 4. Polka dots (demonstration and hands-on). 5. Gradients (demonstration and hands-on). 6. Marble effect/basic metallic color techniques (demonstration and hands-on). 7. Flowers (demonstration and hands-on). 8. Straight lines (demonstration and hands-on). 9. Annual rings (demonstration and hands-on). 10. Cracks (key points covered in class, students can practice at home with video tutorials afterward). The artworks created during the course can be applied to items such as phone cases, tissue boxes, and hexagonal trays. The certification course totals 5-6 hours of instruction. You are also welcome to retake the course for two hours within four months, free of charge.
