Inspired by Czech writer M. Sasek, local artist Don Mak has used his brushes to immortalise present-day Hong Kong as a legacy for his young daughter. A visual memoir like no other, his paintings in ‘Once Upon a Hong Kong’ are as poignant as they are powerful, prompting viewers to ponder upon the future of a city at the crossroads. This enamel pin was produced in collaboration with local creative unit Perks Productions as a special keepsake to commemorate the book’s release.
