Vintage German crystal and silver-plated sugar cube/ice cube bowl made by Quist

Vintage German crystal and silver-plated sugar cube / ice cube bowl made by Quist in Württemberg second half of the last century. The Quist company can trace back its history back to 1866 when it was founded by Jakob Jun Swiss. It produced a large variety of products, even steel helmets for the Wehrmacht during both world wars, in its operational years. The factory closed its doors in 1981. This piece has the original sticker which says it is real crystal that was hand blown. The cracks were purposefully-made during the production process and the metal parts are silver plated. It comes complete with a pair of tongs. This piece is in fairly good condition with some wear and oxidation on the silver. The photographs are a part of the description.
