A: In ancient Chinese calligraphy, there were only Zhu Wen (red text, relief) and Bai Wen (white text, intaglio), not a distinction of yin and yang, referring only to the color of the text when stamped on paper. Ancient scholars and emperors often used square intaglio (Bai Wen) seals as formal stamps, partly for use with sealing clay to secure confidential documents, similar to the function of wax seals. However, seals cannot be classified as good or bad based on Feng Shui or I Ching principles, so there are no taboos or restrictions, only differences in visual preference. Q3: How many characters can be engraved on a 3D stamp? A: For personal names, 2-4 characters are common, so we offer stamps that can accommodate up to 4 characters. For two-character names, the character "印" (Yin) will be added to the side for aesthetic balance in the 3D design. The addition of "印" is acceptable for bank account openings and contract signings. Typically, a two-character stamp will also have "印" added to achieve a harmonious and balanced appearance for the stamp itself. Q4: Can 3D stamps be used for opening bank accounts? A: Yes. Q5: Can you engrave on my own wood or other materials? A: We use only premium wood for our stamps, ensuring the stamp surface is resistant to wear and tear, so your name remains clear even after decades. Do you have round stamps? A: Currently, we do not engrave regular stamps or belly button stamps, nor do we offer round stamps. Q7: Are they hand-carved or computer-carved? A: We use laser engraving for the characters and hand-polish the surface of each stamp. Laser engraving offers the advantage of a flat surface that prevents ink from clogging, and the equipment cost is higher than traditional computer knife carving.
