Long Gerbera Brooch and Czech Bead Double Strand Necklace Demi-Parure Yellow Short Long 2-Way Elegant Costume Jewelry Set

This is a demi-parure of a gerbera brooch and necklace, luxuriously crafted with bright yellow vintage glass beads. Is it like mimosa, like rapeseed flowers, or like lemon, born from the gathering of vintage beads? What shall we compare this fresh, bright, and warm yellow to... As beautiful yellow beads have gathered recently, we have prepared this demi-parure. Some people may feel a little hesitant to wear bright yellow clothing... but perhaps a necklace or brooch might be easier to wear. The gerbera brooch features yellow beads that mimic the petals and the small petals around the center, all of which are vintage. The petals are European vintage, with transparency and delicate stripes that are captivating. The small petals around the center have been sleeping for many years in the warehouse of a major domestic seed bead manufacturer. They have a softer shine than current products. Incidentally, the center is made of recycled glass, a current product. The manufacturing is also by a major domestic seed bead manufacturer, so the quality is assured. The sustainability unique to recycled glass and the beauty of its color are both achieved. The brooch clasp has been custom-made by our shop, considering the ease of use of the gerbera brooch. The brooch pin is longer than conventional ones. The size of the gerbera motif is approximately 4.2cm in diameter, slightly smaller than many of our products made with Czech glass beads. The accompanying necklace for the brooch has traditionally been made with a length around that of a freshwater pearl necklace. We have occasionally received requests and feedback regarding the length, and this time, we have tried making a longer one. For this piece, the shorter strand of the double strand necklace is approximately 74cm (including the clasp). All the beads used in the necklace are vintage glass beads that were stored in Europe. Some of them are the same beads used in the jewelry of the legendary costume jewelry brand Miriam Haskell. Many of the beads chosen by Miriam Haskell were elaborately crafted. The round, larger beads near the center contain yellow, like a drop of ink, within a wavy transparency. This is called "givre," and the yellow inside sparkles with a fresh, lustrous sheen when light hits it. The small round beads with cuts also have the same construction, containing yellow within transparency. The elongated beads from the sides to the clasp have stripes, matching the atmosphere of the gerbera flower. The flat, opaque yellow beads placed as if sandwiched between the beads are shaped like small dandelions when viewed from above. We have chosen a star-shaped clasp with 8 pointed parts, matching the shape of these beads which have 8 pointed sections. This is a limited edition item due to material availability. Two small circular motifs, made using the chainmail technique of combining jump rings to create shapes, are placed on the necklace where the brooch can be attached. We have designed them to blend naturally as metallic accents when the necklace is worn alone. Silicone stoppers are included to securely attach the brooch to the necklace (see image 6). Silicone stoppers are also included for when the brooch is worn separately. Please adjust the position of the clasp slightly to the left or right of the center back of your neck so that the brooch is in the most flattering position for you.
