This results in subtle, almost hidden white specks that appear and disappear, adding a layer of depth to the black ceramic. Each plate is handmade, with slight variations in flatness of approximately 1-2mm, which do not affect its fundamental use. The surface of the ceramic is unglazed, so it is not recommended for placing food items.
