In ancient times, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, potters of past dynasties exhausted their ingenuity and efforts, striving for a lifetime to create a single perfect Tenmoku piece. Today, advancements in technology allow for greater control over many variables in the firing process, yet Tenmoku remains an exceptionally challenging and difficult type of ceramic to master.
