This rare small-sized bracelet (suitable for hands under 16cm in circumference) comes from the late Victorian period in England. It uses minimalist gold lines to highlight the middle prong set with a natural Ceylon sapphire (ceylan sapphire) of about 2.14 carats. Gemstone come with identification certificate.
Ceylon is Sri Lanka. This pear-shaped island country in the southeast of India is nicknamed the "Tear of the Indian Ocean". Due to its ancient geology and rich mineral veins, it has always been an important source of jewelry and Gemstone, and is also known as the "Gemstone Island".
The design of the bracelet is very simple. It uses a complete coil as the main body of the bracelet, and uses a simple hook structure hidden on the bottom platform as a clasp. In order to highlight the rich and translucent Ceylon sapphire in the center, the Gemstone is cushion-shaped. Mixed cuts. Slightly designed prongs secure the Gemstone with elegant lines, while the hollow structure allows more light to enter, revealing the sapphire's charming brilliance and complete shape.
The bracelet is a press-close type, with the opening closed under the Gemstone. Please see the photo details for opening photos. After laboratory testing, the overall gold content was 29.86%, converted to 7.16k gold.
The hand circumference of the work is 16.5 cm, and the maximum inner diameter is 5.1 cm. If you need to change the size to a smaller size, please send a private message to discuss the feasibility and price. The overall state of preservation is good, with normal signs of oxidation and wear. It is a century-old antique and is not in new condition. Although it is a century-old design, it has a touch of modernity and matches well with contemporary accessories.
