Cold Process Handmade Soap Workshop
Description:
1. The handmade "Noon Water Peace Soap" workshop is divided into two types: one for general skin types and another for dry or sensitive skin. You can choose based on your skin type. Please inform us of your choice when registering.
2. The aroma of the handmade soap comes from essential oils. If you prefer a richer scent, you may opt for the fragrance oils provided by the studio. Alternatively, you can choose to omit any added scent.
3. Workshop Dates: June 21st (Sunday). We offer a morning session: 10:00-12:30 and an afternoon session: 14:00-16:30. The end time is based on completion of the soap.
4. Fee: $1900.
A discount of $100 per person is offered for pairs.
The class requires a minimum of 2 participants to form and has a maximum capacity of 4.
The fee includes: lecture notes, materials, use of equipment, venue fee, and post-production such as cutting, curing, and packaging.
5. Cold process handmade soap cannot be used on the same day. It requires demolding, cutting, curing, and packaging.
6. Workshop Content:
* Basic theory of cold process handmade soap.
* An introduction to the properties of plant-based oils in the ingredients.
* An introduction to essential oils.
* Curing and storage of handmade soap.
* Practical production (focusing on plain soap).
* The workshop produces approximately 1000g ± 100g of handmade soap. This can be cut into 10 bars.
If you wish to make additional soap, there is a material fee of $850 per additional kilogram.
For example: Making 2kg of handmade soap would cost: $1900 + $850 (material fee) = $2750.
This results in 20 bars, with each bar costing only approximately $173.5, making it more cost-effective to make your own.
The entire process is handmade. If you require an electric mixer, please bring your own.
Workshop duration: Approximately 2.5 hours (actual end time depends on completion).

1. Each session requires a minimum of 2 participants to start and has a maximum capacity of 4. If the minimum number of participants is not met by the activity date, the studio will contact you to reschedule or process a refund.
2. In case of force majeure (e.g., typhoon-related closures) requiring postponement on the day of the activity, we will coordinate with you to reschedule or provide a refund. If you are unable to attend due to personal reasons, please notify us at least 3 days in advance. No refunds will be issued if notification is not provided.
3. Due to limited space and to ensure adequate room for participants, individuals not registered for the workshop are not permitted to accompany or observe.
4. Entry is permitted 15 minutes before the start of the activity. To ensure a smooth experience, please do not be late.
5. Participants are expected to adhere to the venue rules and follow the instructor's guidance. Any damages incurred due to non-compliance will be the responsibility of the participant.
6. The organizer may take photos and videos during the activity for documentation and promotional purposes on the studio's social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance, and we will respect your request.
7. If you wish to make additional handmade soap on the day, please inform us when registering so we can prepare the materials in advance.
8. The standard shape for the handmade soap is square. If you desire other shapes, please inquire about the molds available at the studio.
