Yashabushi is also called "jidai-zuke" and refers to an aging process. Unlike shiraki, yashabushi has a tasteful texture even though it is new. Shiraki grows into a beautiful amber color over time. By using the traditional repair and coloring technique [yashabushi dyeing method], the color is dyed to look like it has passed through time. However, if you put soy sauce, ketchup, or other strong-colored food directly in the container, or leave the container with water in it for a long time, it may stain. This can be prevented by using plastic wrap or a container inside. Washing in a dishwasher or with a hard sponge or scrubber may damage the box or remove the waterproof coating. It is recommended to use a neutral detergent and a soft sponge. They are all made to fit and overlap, but due to the specifications of the edges, they may slip. Please be careful when carrying.
