Paulownia drinking vessel (Hacoshuki) Yshabushi - Small Plates & Saucers - Wood Brown

Product Description

The concept of Hacoshuki is to make "A compact sake cup for storage." It consists of a waterproofed Wooden vessel, two Shrink Masu, and a Square Masu. Wooden vessel can be used as decanters or carafes for pouring sake or chasers, and you can feel the softness of paulownia wood. The diagonally cut Shrink Masu is comfortable to hold, and its mouthwatering shape can be used as a sake cup or small plate. The lid of Square Masu can be used not only as a cup but also as a small plate for holding snacks. Hacoshuki is light and smart even when all the Wooden vessel, Shrink Masu, and Square Masu are stacked. It is also possible to put a sake bottle inside Hacoshuki and carry it around. Yashabushi is also called "jidai-zuke" and refers to an aging process. Unlike shiraki, yashabushi has a tasteful texture even though it is new. Shiraki grows into a beautiful amber color over time. By using the traditional repair and coloring technique [yashabushi dyeing method], the color is dyed to look like it has passed through time. One of its charms is that the calm texture of yashabushi blends easily into daily life. "I want to make my regular drinking time more special." "I want to take it with me on a trip and enjoy it at an inn." "I want to enjoy my sake in a picturesque setting." How about adding color to your drinking time with these fun and playful Hacoshuki? Material Body: Paulownia [Urethane finish] Size Overall: w88mm x 88dmm x h265mm Wooden vessel: w88mm x 88dmm x h180mm (Capacity: max 900ml) Shrink Masu: w88mm x 88dmm x h65mm (Capacity: 220ml max) Square Masu: w88mm x 88dmm x h65mm (Capacity: max 320ml) *The size of the sake bottle that can fit inside a wooden vessel is approximately 300ml. ●Handling The bag is waterproof, so it will not stain even if you put some watery items in it. However, if you put soy sauce, ketchup, or other strong-colored food directly in the container, or leave the container with water in it for a long time, it may stain. This can be prevented by using plastic wrap or a container inside. Washing in a dishwasher or with a hard sponge or scrubber may damage the box or remove the waterproof coating. It is recommended to use a neutral detergent and a soft sponge. They are all made to fit and overlap, but due to the specifications of the edges, they may slip. Please be careful when carrying. Remarks This product is handmade from natural wood. Due to the nature of the wood, there may be differences in the actual color and texture, and there may be dents and scratches. Please purchase with your understanding. ●Paulownia characteristics Paulownia wood has a very small shrinkage rate, so there is little dimensional change. This makes it possible to minimize deviations and cracks in the design of precision processing. Therefore, we can make accurate boxes with no gaps. Paulownia wood is porous, made up of dense, bubbly, independent tissue. By being able to contain a lot of air, it can retain heat and cold. One of the charms of paulownia wood is its beautiful grain, and with careful use, it can be enjoyed over time, just like leather goods. ●What is ”kirihaco”? "Masudakiribakoten" has been manufacturing paulownia boxes in Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture, for about 90 years. They are constantly researching the types of paulownia that can be used for the purpose of the box and the way it is assembled. And to make the box beautiful and attractive, we also develop and propose our own processing methods to make the box beautiful and attractive. As part of this process, we have been developing products as part of the "kirihaco project" with the owner of the "FukuokaSeikatsudoguten". This project is based on the concept of a "paulownia box to incorporate into your life". ●About the trading period This product will be made to order if it is not in stock at the actual store.
