These cotton threads are hand-dyed using local plants by Karen women living in Thailand.
The colors are inspired by various flowers such as mimosa, violet, and lily of the valley.
The natural materials and handiwork create a warm, organic texture. The subtle variations in color provide a deep, expressive quality that is captivating to look at.

【Care for Plant-Dyed & Handwoven Products】
Plant dyes evolve over time and are more sensitive to light/washing than chemical dyes.
Friction or moisture may cause color transfer. Be cautious with light-colored clothes/bags. Hand wash separately. For machines, use a laundry net and neutral detergent on a gentle cycle. Dry in the shade; avoid dryers.
- Starch:
Some threads use rice starch, which disappears after 2-3 washes.
