→ Product Introduction
This Tenmoku cup, featuring a classic Chinese small round form, offers versatile use whether for enjoying tea, coffee, or a small pour of spirits. The allure of Tenmoku lies in the infinite variations of its glaze. The surface often displays captivating textures reminiscent of rabbit fur, rain streaks, oil drips, or leopard spots.
The brilliant Tenmoku glaze is a mastery achieved by Master Ye, who has dedicated decades to the study of glazes. To create such exquisite Tenmoku teacups, one must precisely control the interplay of fire, clay, and glaze, ensuring every detail of the texture and the overall ambiance of the vessel is perfectly captured.
Tenmoku teacups have been highly sought after by scholars and literati since ancient times. In the past, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, generations of potters painstakingly devoted their lives to achieving a single perfect Tenmoku piece. Today, with advancements in technology, many variables in Tenmoku firing can be controlled, yet it remains an extremely challenging and elusive type of ceramic art.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this piece is designed for practical use. Master Ye has meticulously adjusted each creation based on years of experience, ensuring every cup is comfortable to hold and durable.

→ Purchase Notes
* Most of the products in this design studio are purely handmade. The glaze or ash deposit on each piece will vary, which is precisely the charm of ceramic art. Therefore, once a piece is sold out, it will not be restocked, and an identical piece cannot be found. If a piece you admire is purchased by someone else, we apologize, but you will need to choose another item from our collection, or contact the designer to see if a similar piece is available.
* Dimensions are measured by hand and may have a slight error of within 0.5 cm.
* It is possible for minor marks to be present on the piece from the crafting process, as all items are handmade or semi-handmade. These traces of the making process are normal.
* During the firing process, natural distribution of glaze and ash deposits may occur, which is entirely normal and characteristic of natural glazes. Ceramics are inherently natural. If you have any questions about the product, please send us a private message.
* Product colors are represented as accurately as possible, though minor variations may occur due to lighting and environment adjustments in studio photography. No post-production editing is used. Please refer to the actual product for the most accurate color representation, as variations will not be considered a defect.
