This would have been a much simpler process. However, doing so wouldn't fully showcase the beauty of the French lace. The design was revised to a spliced construction during production. Attaching lace this way requires the entire outer pattern piece to be finished and pressed, which is very time-consuming. But the final result is highly satisfying. Finally, I must emphasize the exquisite quality of the dresses in this collection. The fabric was sourced from a fabric company in partnership with a Japanese firm.
