Exposure to water, sweat, and air can deepen its color. While some appreciate this natural patina, to maintain its original luster, please follow these guidelines: ♦ Avoid contact with water. ♦ Store in a resealable bag when not being worn. If the luster appears diminished, here are a few simple methods to restore your item's original brilliance. Please note that while color can be restored, a polished finish may not be fully recovered if the surface has been scratched (though the vintage matte bronze look is also beautiful!). ♦ Gently brush with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of foaming toothpaste or tooth powder, similar to brushing your teeth. This can restore brass's shine. Ensure to dry thoroughly afterward. ♦ Use a silver polishing cloth for a quick shine (not suitable for brushed finishes). ♦ Dilute lemon juice and soak the brass jewelry for about 5 minutes to quickly restore its shine (not suitable for natural beads like pearls that are sensitive to acid).
