Natural stones inherently contain internal impurities (inclusions), which are unavoidable. If this is a concern, we advise against purchasing. However, NOW products will always eliminate natural stones where impurities extend to the surface. **Care & Storage** For natural gemstone and metal jewelry, it is not recommended to wear them while visiting hot springs or bathing. Chemicals can easily cause chemical reactions with the jewelry. Avoid direct contact with perfumes and bleach. Please also refrain from storing jewelry in bathrooms or kitchens, as this can accelerate oxidation. When not wearing sterling silver or gold-plated jewelry, try to minimize exposure to moisture and air. Clean with a soft, dry cloth or the provided polishing cloth, then store in a resealable bag. Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from contact with other jewelry or hard objects.
