The "Mental Sketch Series" is a series of hand-woven impressions of Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tales and poems. The first work was woven with the image of reading the fairy tale "Manazuru to Dariya". It is a hand-woven reading impression. It's hard to see in the photo, but I put orange and gold yarn near the red yarn to make it a little gorgeous. The size is about 37-39 cm in width, 206 cm in length (including tufts, 7 cm each), 192 g. It is a long size that can be rolled loosely. Only the part of the decorative thread put in the lower part is rayon. Since a lot of threads are used, the shrinkage ratio is different, so the width is slightly different. Since it contains cashmere and mohair, it has a soft and light finish. The decorative thread part is smooth. "Saori weaving" is a hand-woven weaving devised by Misao Jo, and all weaving is "self-expression", which is a human-like weaving method that carefully weaves individuality and sensibility. I like the color change, so I add gradation while changing the yarn. With the addition of mohair, I tried to make it a soft and soft pastel color.
