Bracelet with Old Tibetan Turquoise, Mizoram Carnelian, Ancient Agate, Ancient Crystal, Endless Knot, Old Chin Silver and Orissa Brass, Blood Red and Golden Red White Hearts

This bracelet is crafted by connecting old Tibetan turquoise, Mizoram carnelian, ancient agate, ancient crystal, an endless knot motif, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and blood red & golden red White Hearts beads. The old Tibetan turquoise dates back approximately 100 to 200 years, possibly even older. It was acquired from a collector who sourced it directly from Tibet. Turquoise is also known as a "Fallen Skystone," believed to have descended from the heavens. Since ancient times, it has been revered in various cultures as a protective amulet and a sacred stone, and in Tibet, it has even been used medicinally. It is one of the stones passed down and worn for millennia. This is natural turquoise, without any coatings. Its smooth, beautiful shape is truly captivating. (Turquoise size: 1.2cm width, 1cm height, 0.65cm depth) The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, originating from the Mizoram state in Northeast India, dating back to around the 18th century. Their color variations create a rich, expressive quality. When held to the light, the agate's characteristic banding becomes visible, showcasing its exquisite beauty. Though showing minor signs of age, these imperfections contribute to the carnelian's wonderfully atmospheric character. Ancient agate beads with white banding have been incorporated. These were unearthed in regions like Pakistan and India, along the Indus River basin, and are approximately 2000 years old. The slender, transparent beads are ancient crystal, sourced from Afghanistan and dating back to the Roman period, around 1500 years ago. They feature gentle faceting. Minor scratches and chips are present, but these add to their unique charm. (Ancient crystal size: 1.15cm width, 0.6cm diameter) The endless knot is a motif from Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing eternal connection. The metal shows attractive wear and a patina of age. While not extremely old, its slightly worn appearance lends it a distinct atmosphere. It is intricately crafted with openwork detailing and is hollow, making it lightweight. This piece is deadstock. (Endless knot size: 1.1cm width, 0.9cm height) The dull golden beads and the charm next to the old Tibetan turquoise are old Orissa brass from the state of Orissa, India. These are exceptionally rare metal beads. The small brass charm near the clasp also originates from India. The plump, pot-shaped silver beads are made of highly rare old Chin silver, dating from the 18th-19th centuries and originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women in necklaces and display unique wear and endearing marks. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver, though beautiful modern pieces also exist. These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The red beads are antique Venetian White Heart beads (19th-20th century), named for their white core. These are a deep shade, akin to blood red. The White Hearts show a pleasing wear from use, giving them a wonderfully expressive character. The lighter colored beads are golden red White Hearts, with a hue somewhere between orange and vermilion. A few purple beads are also included. The small Karen silver beads on the clasp are individually stamped. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by the mountain ethnic group living in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to be of very high purity.
