Her teacher told her about this classic scripture. The teacher spoke of the sutra's origins and its power to transform all beings and dispel negative energy from a place. For a while, Kuruptah_y would often read it herself and sometimes even copy it by hand. Later, I shared the version by Teacher Hsi-Sung with her. We agreed to embark on the Metta Sutta project together. Kuruptah_y discovered that Teacher Hsi-Sung had excerpted and rewritten it into three sections with seven wishes and eighty-eight characters. So, she decided to follow this approach, internalizing and rewriting it into her own set of wishes! Therefore, this version of the Metta Sutta has a unique content.
