Store it sealed in a zip-lock bag. ▴ Our brass is not plated, so it won't fade and can get wet. However, keeping it dry will slow down oxidation. The color will naturally transition from a bright gold to a deeper, antique bronze hue. ▴ For minor oxidation, gently brush the brass with a little toothpaste and water, or use a brass polishing cloth. For more significant oxidation, you can purchase brass polish from a hardware store.
