While walking, I noticed the sparkling shadows dancing on the ground, their forms constantly shifting.
I wanted to capture that fleeting, gentle light, so I created this Komorebi letter set using my own photographs.
The notepaper is made from a warm, yellowish paper called "book paper," and the envelopes are crafted from a type of paper called "First Vintage." Both papers complement the soft, gentle quality of the Komorebi motif beautifully. The inside of the envelopes feature a watercolor wash. I envisioned the feeling of receiving a letter, carried by the wind through the trees, as I designed it.
A ruled guide sheet is included for your convenience.
