Vintage English cup and saucer with rose design made by Paragon.
The Paragon China Company was operational under this name between 1920 and 1991. They received royal patronage starting with the Duchess of York in 1926 and continuing through Queen Mary, the Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth. Paragon eventually became part of Royal Doulton and the name was discontinued in the 1991.
The mark at the bottom of this set was in use between 1957 and 1972. This set is in good condition with slight surface marks and wear on the print and gold due to usage. One side of the handle feels a bit rough due to production flaws. The photographs are a part of the description.
