To withstand the cold, they grow a layer of soft "down" in late autumn for added warmth. This down is the finest of all animal fibers, not only providing excellent warmth but also being known as "diamond fiber" due to its light texture, luster, and elasticity. The key differences between Cashmere and regular wool are: 1. Cashmere does not feel heavy to the touch and is not prickly. 2. Cashmere's irregular curls and fine texture create air pockets when made into a scarf. This not only prevents the intrusion of cold air but also retains body heat, offering superior warmth. 3. Its excellent elasticity means it resists wrinkling and quickly recovers its beautiful shape after folding. Do not bleach or iron at high temperatures. 2. Avoid wearing with other metal accessories to prevent snagging. 3. The fine fibers of goat down mean that occasional snagging on 100% Cashmere is normal. If snagged, do not cut the fibers; gently pull them straight in the direction of the weave by hand. 4. If pilling occurs, gently separate the pills by hand; do not use a brush. 5. Photos may have color variations. Hand-woven patterns are intricate but not perfectly uniform. The scarf edges have a downy texture. 6. Made in Nepal without added fixatives. Any color bleeding or fading is a normal phenomenon.
