Kyo Ware Kintsugi Earrings | Purple Hand-Painted Floral Freshwater Pearl No.261 - Earrings & Clip-ons - Pottery Purple

Product Description

This Kintsugi SDGs jewelry is an upcycled piece made from Kyo Ware / Kiyomizu Ware pottery created by Fukuiku Kiln in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. Broken, chipped, or otherwise unusable ceramic pieces are reused, treated with Kintsugi, and refashioned into an accessory. The concept of the work is to allow people to feel close to nature and the enduring Japanese tradition, transforming the pieces into modern accessories that connect to the future and generate new possibilities. We combined a pale purple ceramic fragment, hand-painted with a floral pattern, with a three-strand freshwater pearl accent. Since Kintsugi is applied to the side of the ceramic fragment, the gold shines brightly even when viewed from the side, adding a touch of elegance. Please wear it as a focal point for both casual and elegant coordination. Length: Ceramic Fragment: 10 x 13 mm. Total Length: 22 mm. Hardware: Surgical Stainless Steel Earrings (Hardware change is not possible.) Weight: Although it's a ceramic fragment, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear ◎ As a one-of-a-kind accessory, I believe it is perfect for gifts. Please consider it as a gift for your loved ones. *As this is a sale of a one-of-a-kind finished product, we cannot accept changes to the hardware or re-orders. *We will send the item shown in the photo, but if it has already been sold on another site, it may become a made-to-order product. In that case, please note that there will be individual differences in the color, pattern, and size of the ceramic fragments and natural stones compared to the photos. *"Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair technique that involves binding broken or chipped ceramics together using Urushi lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique for creation; unlike traditional Urushi lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, the main adhesive used for bonding is synthetic glue. The Kintsugi parts use Urushi (a non-raw, manufactured lacquer paint) and gold powder (brass powder, pearl powder), and UV resin is also used for reinforcement. --------------------- Gift, Present, Ceramic Fragment Accessory, Arita Ware, Imari Ware, Natural Stone Accessory, One-of-a-Kind Accessory, Pottery Accessory, Natural Stone, Kintsugi, Kintsugi Accessory, Simplified Kintsugi, Modern Kintsugi, Unique Accessory, Retro, Japanese Modern, Adult Cute, SDGs, SDGs Accessory, Mother's Day, Mother's Day Gift, Small Gift, Outing Coordinate, Kintsugi Jewelry, Japan Traditional Crafts, Japan Jewelry
