Why don't we use waterproof stickers?
1. Originally we wanted to use waterproof stickers, but after several kinds of stickers and various chemical glues to test the fabric, including time, dosage and temperature, etc., and then through hand washing and machine washing to verify the effect of the stickers after several times of washing , After washing 5-10 times, the tape began to separate the fabric, the adhesion effect was not good, and the phenomenon of melting occurred many times. After asking the manufacturer, I learned that the fabric we selected is not suitable for using the tape.
2. Due to the poor effect, plus the emphasis on elasticity of our fabric itself, it can allow users to move freely, but the activity pulls the sticking strip, causing the sticking strip to be damaged quickly, which is contrary to the function of the cloth itself, and it is inside. It has soft bristles and has a skin-friendly effect. However, attaching the sticker will make the skin uncomfortable to contact the sticker. If the sticker is attached to the outside, it will affect the appearance.
3. We actually tested the waterproof trousers without stickers, and they will not be soaked in the general rain and snow. There will be water penetration when the strong water jet is directed at the stitching of the car, but the amount of water ingress is not large, and It dries extremely quickly within a few minutes.
4. The stickers and their glue are chemical substances, considering that they will directly touch the skin if they are used on the pants.
Therefore, based on the above reasons, we do not want to increase the cost and increase the price of materials with low CP value. After the test data is confirmed, it is confirmed that the fabric has very short bristles for noise reduction and is not suitable for sticking, so we decided not to Use waterproof stickers.
