Acquired from an overseas collector.
The collector stated it is from the Edo period (1603-1867 AD, early 17th-19th century).
This corresponds to the late Ming Dynasty to mid-Qing Dynasty in Chinese history.
Vajras from the Edo period generally date back 150-420 years.
Having handled antiques for many years, I prefer to conservatively estimate its age.
I've placed it in the 19th century, considering it a religious artifact with a century of history to be more appropriate.
The vajra has a small chip on its body.
Total length is 10.8 cm.
Made of brass alloy.
Hand-carved and finished.
A special Vajrayana ritual implement with genuine age from practice.
Japanese Esoteric Buddhist ritual implements, specifically the middle section of the vajra,
commonly feature four engraved circles.
These four circles represent the four eyes of Dainichi Nyorai (Mahavairocana),
subduing all demonic obstacles...
Strung on a stainless steel chain,
paired with a unique ancient West Asian bead featuring a mountain totem pattern.
The chain length is 75 cm.
The vajra can be detached at any time for holding or ritual practice.
The ancient West Asian bead can also be worn separately.

Regarding the energetic resonance of ritual implements, I do not possess such sensitivity.
Whether it's ancient Tibetan Phurba or Vajra,
or even Japanese Esoteric Buddhist Dokko, Sanko, or Goko vajras,
I feel nothing from them.
However, when I acquired a large batch of Tibetan vajras this year, I also obtained a few Japanese ones.
One evening, while handling a Dokko vajra, I placed it under my pillow before sleeping.
Unexpectedly, I dreamt of a fire ritual scene, smelling the scent of burning pine resin.
As I frequently burn broken amber and beeswax prayer beads for friends in recent years
to let them learn the scent of genuine beeswax and amber when burned...
In the dream, I specifically focused on the smell... three times...
Thus, I confirmed in my dream that it was indeed the scent of burning pine resin, beeswax, and similar resins...
Upon waking with the dawn, after over 30 years of touching countless ritual implements, all of which left me indifferent,
to receive a dream-like resonance from this Dokko vajra...
A fellow practitioner from the south, who deals in antiques, once told me: "The meditative power of Japanese practitioners surpasses that of Tibetans. Do not underestimate Japanese ritual implements..."
On December 7, 2024, a Taoist brother who has been practicing spiritual cultivation and meditation for a long time visited.
He sensed the energy of several ritual implements I possess, both Tibetan (11th-18th century) and Japanese old vajras.
Upon holding them, he couldn't stop yawning uncontrollably, exclaiming how powerful the energy was.
He then looked at me with disbelief,
asking if I truly felt nothing when touching these implements.
After sensing them, he took photos and sent them to his master.
Then, after I explained the age and acquisition price of each implement,
the next morning, he sheepishly requested to purchase three Japanese Esoteric Buddhist ritual implements (Dokko, Sanko, and Goko vajras) from me.
He noted that the energy fields sensed from Japanese and Tibetan ritual implements were almost equally powerful,
but the price difference was substantial.
Similar to the vast price difference between Tibetan Dzi beads and West Asian beads.
He believed that considering the price of Japanese ritual implements, they were still affordable.
On December 19, 2024, he specifically traveled north to see me and reported that
the night he brought the Japanese ritual implements home, he placed two of them by his bedside.
He then dreamt of two dragons, one large and one small, appearing within the vajras.
Having practiced sensing energies for many years, he was truly surprised and delighted this time.

On December 18, 2024, I made an offering to the master Ugyen Khenpo at the Dharma center.
I inquired if there were any practices in Tibetan Buddhism involving the Sanko vajra.
The master replied that it is only for householder yogis to visualize.
It is purely a visualization practice, imagining the Sanko vajra in one's mouth.
In reality, the Sanko vajra ritual implement is not used.
