This sunflower was created by weaving together glass beads from the Czech Republic (Bohemia), a region renowned for its long history and tradition in glass craftsmanship. (The center of the flower and the small beads surrounding it are primarily made in Japan.) A characteristic feature is the firm, tight texture unique to bead weaving. Three shades of yellow Czech beads, reminiscent of sunflowers, were chosen, and a single flower was crafted from each. We've differentiated between those with black centers and those with a yellowish-green hue. Which color do you envision for the center of a sunflower when you hear the word? ^^ The "Sunflower Brooch Yellow-Black" (this item) and "Sunflower Brooch Topaz-Black," both featuring transparent and frosted finishes, have black centers. Seed beads that complement the frosted colors were selected. The black parts at the center of real sunflowers shimmer with nectar, so for those areas, we used transparent black beads with a gold coating applied to the inside of their holes. ^^ The "Yellow-Black" (this item) offers a bright, cheerful impression, while the "Topaz-Black" provides a slightly more subdued feel. The petal arrangement is intentionally scattered and not evenly spaced, bringing it closer to the natural expression of a fresh flower. For your peace of mind, a silicone brooch stopper is included. As a result, each piece will have subtle variations in shape. Please understand this in advance. Czech beads may exhibit small indentations, scratches on the surface, or tiny bubbles within. Additionally, the shape and color of individual beads can vary slightly. We kindly ask for your understanding of these characteristics of Czech beads. (We do exclude pieces with significant imperfections, and we take care to ensure the most beautiful surfaces face outward.) Due to differences in manufacturing periods for the metal findings, there might be a slight rotational play in the entire back plate where the brooch pin is attached. This does not affect usability, so please be aware of this in advance. As this is a delicate item, please handle it with care. Please avoid using it on fabrics where needle holes might be noticeable.
