The sunflowers were made by weaving glass beads made in the Czech Republic (Bohemia), which boasts a long history and tradition of glass craft. (The flower lover and the small beads around it are mainly made in Japan). It features a firm and taut feel that is unique to thread knitting. I chose three yellow Czech beads that resemble sunflowers, and made one sunflower of each color. We produce two types, one with a black center and one with a color closer to yellow-green. When you think of sunflowers, what color do you think of in the center of the flower lover? The two-tone, transparent and matte "Sunflower Brooch Yellow/Black" (this product) and "Sunflower Brooch Topaz/Black" have sunflowers with black centers. I choose seed beads that are matte and have matching colors. The black center of a real sunflower glistens with nectar, so I used transparent black beads with gold painted holes for that part. "Yellow Black" (this product) gives off a bright impression reminiscent of sunflowers, while "Topaz Black" gives off a slightly more subdued impression. The petals are not spaced evenly, but are scattered randomly to create a more realistic look of fresh flowers. For your peace of mind, we will include a silicone brooch stopper.
