This sunflower is meticulously crafted from glass beads made in the Czech Republic (Bohemia), a region renowned for its long history and tradition in glass artistry. (The center of the flower and the surrounding small beads are primarily made in Japan). A distinctive feature is its firm, compact feel, achieved through bead weaving techniques. Three shades of yellow Czech beads, reminiscent of sunflowers, were selected to create each individual bloom. We've differentiated the centers, some appearing black and others a greenish-yellow. Which color do you envision for a sunflower's center when you think of them? ^^ For the "Sunflower Brooch Topaz Black" (this item) and "Sunflower Brooch Yellow Black," we chose a black center. We selected seed beads with complementary matte finishes for a harmonious look. The black centers of real sunflowers shimmer with nectar, so we used transparent black beads with a gold coating on the inside of their holes to capture this effect. ^^ The "Topaz Black" (this item) offers a slightly more subdued impression, while the "Yellow Black" provides a brighter, more classic sunflower feel. The petals are intentionally arranged in a slightly scattered, random pattern rather than evenly spaced, bringing it closer to the natural, organic expression of a fresh flower. To ensure you can wear it with confidence, a silicone brooch stopper is included. The paper beneath the brooch in the 7th image is the size of a postcard. As a result, each piece will have subtle variations in shape. We appreciate your understanding. Czech beads may exhibit small indentations, scratches on the surface, or tiny air bubbles within. Furthermore, the shape and color of individual beads can vary slightly. We kindly ask for your understanding of these characteristics inherent to Czech beads. (We do exclude pieces with significant flaws and take care to position the most beautiful surfaces outward). Due to variations in the manufacturing of the metal findings, the backplate where the brooch pin is attached may have a slight rotational play. This does not affect usability, and we appreciate your understanding. As this is a delicate piece, please handle it with care. Avoid using on fabrics where pinholes might be conspicuous.
