The chopstick rests with the image of penguins sliding on the ice.
There are three kinds of chopstick rests: king penguins, Adelie penguins, and Magellanic penguins.
Each design is unique.
- Made of ceramic
Made by the "casting technique, " muddy soil is poured into a plaster mould.
It is an interesting way of making use of the water absorbency of the plaster mould and also features a round hole on the back side to drain out the remaining mud.
This technique is often used to make figurines because of its high reproducibility of detail.
- Matching penguin figures are also available.
This is a chopstick rest, but there are also figurine-type penguin figures in the same series.
There are three types of adult penguins and cute baby penguins as well.
You can also display them together and enjoy them!
