/ Product Description & Story /
Each year, "Taiwanese Glyphs" tells the stories of Taiwanese people through the Chinese zodiac animals of Taiwan:
Formosan Hare – Gentle and Cautious
Due to the rabbit's strong reproductive ability and adaptability to its environment, rabbits are found all over the world. The Formosan Hare is a subspecies endemic to Taiwan. We often hear the saying "a clever rabbit has three burrows," symbolizing the rabbit's caution and preparedness for its survival environment. It also reflects a gentle nature that does not compete with others. Since the Chinese character for "rabbit" (兔) sounds like "Too" in English, the image on the postcard means: "I love Taiwan, too."
