This driftwood is a rotten tree that grew in the ancient forest of Yakushima, a world natural heritage site, and is washed away by the river and hits many stones before reaching the shore, or it sleeps for a long time on the ocean floor and eventually wakes up on the shore. These are driftwood.
We kept processing to a minimum and cherished the natural form when creating it.
I didn't apply any paint.
