Antique Italian Mosaic Inlaid Glass Flower Necklace A6

Italian micro-mosaic inlaid necklace. Two flowers in the center, one above the other, echo each other in a beautiful arrangement. Materials: gilded metal and glass. Total chain length: 50 cm. Pendant size: 3.5 x 2.5 cm. The metal on the back shows some areas where the color is lighter and has minor marks, but this does not affect its use. Note: During my recent trip to Italy, I had the pleasure of visiting several glass workshops, some of which still produce mosaic jewelry. The workshop owner mentioned that the glass used for mosaics has a different composition than regular glass, though both are primarily glass.
