About the history of the technique of cloisonné enamel, there are many versions. Someone assures that the technology originated in Turkey, others - in Egypt. But the term “cloisone” itself is of French origin and means “placed in a cell”. The cloisone technique reached its heyday in China. The method is based on filling the cells isolated on the basis of a metal product with brass wire with multi-colored enamel.
