Double I-BEAM stringers – extra sturdiness
The innovative air chamber doubles the side walls and acts as a rollable I-BEAMS. Starting from behind the standing area and continuing to the front, place the air chamber in the most critical bending area and reduce the deviation by 1.8cm. The feeling of paddling with the sturdy double I-BEAM stringers becomes very similar to a hard board, which promotes the feeling of inflating technology closer to the "hard board". The air chamber provides a safe buoyancy of up to 42 liters, even 14 liters in the smallest board that only requires 10 PSI. Starboard is the first to introduce dual air chamber technology in 201 Marine Lifesaving Board. Future Coast Guard regulations may require safety measures for the use of such inflatable panels in open waters.
