Dou Jia is the only impressionist painter who is really engaged in sculpture.
He captures momentary images from the realm of life. Early on, he used horses to explore various shapes, and then he turned to characters, especially little ballerinas.
Dou Jia showed the warm and cordial look of the little dancer in extreme realism. He wore a tulle dance skirt with ribbons tied to his hair. The dance clothes and shoes were painted with painted statues, which were lifelike.
