→ Product Introduction
This Tenmoku cup, with its full, rounded form, offers versatile use whether you are savoring tea, enjoying coffee, or partaking in a small drink. The beauty of Tenmoku lies in the infinite variations of its glaze. The surface often displays textures reminiscent of rabbit fur, silken threads, oil droplets, or leopard spots.
The dazzling Tenmoku glaze, a technique mastered by Teacher Yeh, who has dedicated decades to researching glazes, requires precise control over the interplay of fire, clay, and glaze to achieve such exquisite detail in its textures and the overall ambiance of the vessel.
Since ancient times, Tenmoku teacups have been highly esteemed by scholars and literati. In bygone eras, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, potters of past dynasties would labor meticulously, pouring their heart and soul into the pursuit of a perfect Tenmoku piece, dedicating their entire lives to the craft. Today, with advancements in technology, many variables in Tenmoku firing have been brought under control, yet it remains an exceptionally challenging and elusive type of ceramic ware to master.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this piece is also designed for practicality. Teacher Yeh has meticulously adjusted each item based on years of experience, ensuring that every cup is comfortable to hold and durable for everyday use.

→ Purchase Notes
* Most products in this design studio are handcrafted, and the glaze or ash deposits on each piece will vary. This is precisely the charm of ceramic art. Therefore, once a piece is sold out, it will not be restocked, and an identical item cannot be found. If a piece you admire is purchased by someone else, we regret that you will need to select another item from our studio. We appreciate your understanding! You may also contact the designer to see if a similar piece is available.
* Dimensions are measured by hand and may have a slight variation of up to 0.5 cm.
* It is possible for minor marks to be present on the piece from the production process, as all items are handmade or semi-handmade. These traces of craftsmanship are inherent to the making process.
* During the firing process, natural variations in glaze and ash distribution may occur, which is entirely normal and a characteristic emphasized in natural glazes. Ceramics are inherently natural. If you have any questions about the product, please feel free to send us a private message.
* Product images are taken in a studio with adjusted lighting and environment, but without any post-processing. Please refer to the actual product for color accuracy. Variations in color will not be considered a defect.
